Terri's Cedar Key Series
Welcome to author Terri DuLong's Cedar Key Series!

Cedar Key is the setting for Terri's novels and IS a real live place, which is also where Terri resides.  A small fishing village, the town is an island off the west coast of Florida. Both the community and beautiful setting is what gives Terri inspiration for her series.

This site will help readers to meet the characters in both Spinning Forward and Casting About, learn about the places Terri mentions in her novels, get some "behind the scenes" news, see photos of Cedar Key, enter contests, share your ideas and suggestions for future stories, have fun and get to know the island better.  Who knows . . . maybe you'll even want to pay a visit here.

We hope you'll visit often as updates will occur regularly.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Terri's Cedar Key Series

Almost April?

by Terri DuLong on 03/26/12

I don't know about you, but I'm wondering where Jan. Feb. and March went!  Here it is almost April and spring has arrived on Cedar Key.  Flowers are in bloom, trees are getting leafy, birds are chirping and the weather has been picture perfect.

I've been very busy writing, doing book events and oh yes, taking time out to enjoy the beauty of our island.  Book 4 is finished and with my editor.  This will be released on Oct. 30.   I have the first two chapters finished on book 5.  And I've been doing a lot of book events and signings around the Sunshine State.  I have more coming up in April, so be sure to check out my appearances page on my author website.  I hope to see you at one of the upcoming events.

Don't forget about our Arts Festival here on the island the weekend of April 28.  And many of us are looking forward to September and the first Cedar Key Series Knitting Retreat that I'll be hosting.  I think it'll be a lot of fun!
Wishing you a very happy spring, free from pollen and allergies (yes, we've had our share of this here too) vibrant flowers, great weather and maybe a trip to Cedar Key in the near future.

Happy 2012 From Cedar Key!

by Terri DuLong on 01/01/12

Today marks the beginning of another New Year, so welcome to 2012!

Wishing all of you a healthy, happy and successful New Year from Cedar Key.  And if you've never had the opportunity to visit our beautiful island.....maybe this will be the year that you do so!

I'm very pleased to announce that I completed Book 4 on the last day of 2011 and the manuscript will be in the hands of my editor before my Feb. 1 deadline.  And in the hands of my readers in late October.

Wherever your paths take you this year, I wish all for you that you wish for yourself.

Happy Holidays from Cedar Key

by Terri DuLong on 12/13/11

Not much longer now and Christmas morn will be here!  Cedar Key is looking very festive with homes and shops decorated.  Our Christmas tree at City Park looks beautiful lit up each evening.

And if you're going to be on the island this weekend.....We have our doggie parade at 5:00 PM Saturday, followed by the boat parade.  Lots of activities going on, so be sure to stop by the Chamber Website for details.

And if you're looking for a special Christmas gift.....stop by the Cedar Key Welcome Center on Second Street to purchase autographed copies of my Cedar Key Series.

Those of you that have signed up for my mailing list here will receive my December Newsletter today.  I have some pretty exciting news to share with you....my assistant, Alice, and I are planning to have a Cedar Key Series Knitting Retreat here on the island next fall.  All the details are in the Newsletter.

From all of us on Cedar Key to you......Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!  And again, thank you so much for all the support you have shown over the year for my Cedar Key Series!
